full costs of

in-house systems
this needs to
include the PC,
system
maintenance and
upgrades, the
support/maintenance
contract etc. In
addition,
surveys of call
logging users
also indicate
that staff spend
large amounts of
time managing
and interpreting
the system. As
the saying goes;
"Time is Money"
and this must be
considered when
estimating the
overall cost of
running your own
system.
